For Grandparents Day this year, Dad and Vicki were here to celebrate with Isaac. We picked them up from the airport and got to go to McDonald's for lunch--a favorite treat for the boys (alas, no pictures of this)!
That night Isaac and Paul had the elementary program. Isaac was sitting in the back row way near the top of the bleachers so the picture quality was very poor. Even Paul had a part in the dramatic part of the program as the trainer--with lines and a vocal solo.

I love watching Isaac in action. He loves to sing, but it would be hard to tell while watching him in the program since he is so intent on doing everything exactly so and not sticking out (wonder where he gets that from?!?). Here are a couple videos from the night (sorry for my lack of stability with them). Isaac is the second one from the left in the back row--by the T. (The second song has actions, and you can see how focused he is to get the actions just right.)
The elementary had an open house after the program which meant we got to visit Isaac's classroom so he could show us his desk, books and artwork.

The next day (which was the last day of school before spring break) was Grandparents Day. Dad and Vicki got to see the K-5 program, spend some time in the classroom and then eat lunch with Isaac.

The elementary inaugural walk-a-thon began after lunch so they also got to be part of that, but that is for another post.
